Social Science from Central Christian College of Kansas is a Campus Bachelor Sociology degree that prepares you for a Human Services career. This major is designed for those students to acquire a greater understanding of the principles of human organization and of the social forces within the greater community. Career goals would include case manager, mental health worker, drug rehabilitation, elderly caregiver, politics, corrections, probation officer, etc. Component 1 - General Education Requirements In order to keep your educational experience broad enough to deal with the reality of the real world marketplace, all students, regardless of their major, are required to complete a series of General Education Courses. Activity or Varsity Sport Math Science Personal Finance or Marriage & Family History Psychology or Sociology Bible Survey Course I & II Old Testament Course New Testament Course Humanities Senior Seminar Component 2 - Choose Your Two Emphases The Social Science Major gives you option of further focusing your educational experience by allowing you to choose from seven different emphases.
