Their tools include laser spectroscopy, magnetic resonance, x-ray crystallography, tunneling microscopy, and many other novel investigative tools. Centenary has the distinction of being one of the first liberal arts institutions in the nation to offer an undergraduate B.S. degree in biophysics .
