Students will be admitted into the program with a DCCCD GPA (2) of at least 2.75. Students MUST take the THEA (Texas Higher Education Assessment) test and score at least 270 on Reading, 220 on Writing, and 230 on Math in order to be accepted into this program at UTA. Students who do not wish to seek the aforementioned degree at UTA should not complete this AA degree . This AA plan incorporates the Core Curriculum plus 15 hours toward the degree. The AA degree will be awarded when students complete all requirements at a minimum of 63 credit hours.
