The Surgical Technology program at Carver Career Center is a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited program, which means that our graduated are eligible to sit for certification by the LCC-ST (Liaison Council on Certification - Surgical Technology). As part of the curriculum students of Carver Career Centers Surgical Technology program will sit for their National Certification as a pre-graduate. Our program is a ten and a half month certificate program and is a natural springboard into other health related programs such as Health Sciences Administration, Nursing, or Physician's Assistant. The program is designed to prepare graduates to enter the profession with little orientation to the healthcare facility.
