Electricity - Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County

Electricity from Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County is a Campus Certificate Electrical Engineering degree that prepares you for a Engineering career. During your junior year in the Electricity program, you will receive hands-on instruction in residential and commercial applications with an emphasis on safety. You'll also wire the school's annual project, a Habitat for Humanity house. Through a centers approach, you'll visit other trade classes for specialized training to diversify your knowledge and skills. Wired During your senior year, you'll focus on industrial motor control skills, electrical theory and math, as well as meter usage and applications. You'll gain electrical and construction experience by completing a house in conjunction with the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Licking County. Lights on Plus, you'll have the chance to earn accreditation in the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), with the chance for college credit toward a construction management degree at Hocking College. Or, our apprenticeship program gives you job site experience so you'll earn while you learn. You'll graduate as an entry-year electrician with a certificate from the NCCER in both Level One and Core (recognized as one year off some apprenticeship programs).
