CLINCIAL: 60 CREDIT HOURS The goal of the Master of Science in Counseling (M.S.C.) is to enhance career opportunities by preparing graduates with the knowledge and skills to counsel individuals, families, and groups in a variety of occupational venues. The basic generalist curriculum provides the foundation for this degree but is expanded upon to prepare an advanced level graduate who is academically prepared to seek licensure as a counselor in Kentucky and various other states. The counseling program melds the qualifications of four different disciplines to prepare generalist counselors.
