Licensure Requirements for Middle Grades Education: Students seeking licensure in middle grades education must choose a primary and a secondary area of concentration. Twenty-four hours of course work must be completed for a primary area of concentration, and eighteen hours of course work must be completed in the secondary area of concentration. A grade of ?C?or better must be earned in all concentration area courses as well as all education courses.
