Student Learning Outcomes Students graduating with a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Sciences with an option in General Dietetics (D) or Foodservice Administration (FA) will: demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively (D and FA). be able to demonstrate their understanding of physical and biological sciences (D and FA). demonstrate their understanding of the role of nutrients and food in the achievement and maintenance of human health and well-being (D and FA). demonstrate their ability critically to evaluate research and project plans (D). demonstrate their ability to use efficiently and effectively the techniques and tools for managing foodservice systems (D and FA). have knowledge of health care systems (D). have knowledge of social aspects of individuals and groups and public policy development (D). demonstrate their understanding of the role of nutrients and food in the achievement and maintenance of human health and well-being (D and FA).
