Surgical Technologists are employed in hospital operating rooms, delivery rooms, ambulatory surgery centers and clinics. Many work as private technicians to surgeons. They also apply their knowledge in other realms such as purchasing or central supply services. The Surgical Technology curriculum includes planned learning experiences for a period of either one or two years.
