Program Purpose The BFA in the Animation Program is an interdisciplinary degree program based on the conceptual ideas, aesthetics and histories of the visual arts, the cinema arts, and the technologies applicable to both. Students will become independent artists and innovators in the entertainment and visualization industries for the purpose of positively influencing the greater community. The degree is offered by the College of Fine Arts and Communications through the cooperative involvement of the Department of Visual Arts and Design and the Department of Theatre and Media Arts and the School of Technology located in College of Engineering. Expected Learning Outcomes BFA Goals and Outcomes Goal: Establish an individual artistic and critical voice.
