The Neurobiology program synergizes with an interdepartmental Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience (PIN), which includes faculty the Departments of Biology , Psychology, Cognitive and Neural Systems, and Mathematics, as well as the Colleges of Engineering, Health Sciences, and Medicine, to provide an intellectual environment for all neuroscientists. Joint activities include interdisciplinary course offerings and a weekly seminar series. The requirements for this specialization include 12 biology courses with an emphasis in the neurosciences, and seven related science courses .
