Students seeking licensure in the state of Minnesota to teach Spanish K-12 (licensure in world languages and cultures) who are not native speakers of Spanish are required to demonstrate intermediate-high level speaking proficiency as defined by the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines as well as proficiency in reading, listening, and writing via the Praxis II exam.
