Finance from Benedictine University is a Campus Bachelor Finance degree that prepares you for a Business career. Finance majors must complete the University core requirements, which are partially satisfied by one core approved philosophy course in ethics, MATH-S105(3) or S110(3) and C115 (3). All business majors must complete CMSC-180 and either CMSC-181 or 183, depending upon the student's background. CMSC-181 should be taken by students who believe they already have a background in the Office Suite. CMSC-183 is recommended for those students who need to develop skills using the Office Suite. This program and courses are designed to: 1. Evaluate the role of economics and business in the social environment of our culture; 2. Articulate how the functional areas of business interrelate within organizations; 3. Improve skills in communication, analytical thinking and appreciating the human element in organizations; and 4. Enable you to perform effectively in professional and career positions in management; and 3. Prepare you for graduate and professional study in business or management. The principles pertinent to all of the functional areas of business, accounting, finance, management and marketing, in an integrated manner and with adequate focus on their international aspects; and 4.
