Behavior therapists provide services to individuals, families, group homes, schools, mental health agencies, hospitals, and other agencies working with individuals requiring adaptive living strategies. Most commonly, individuals with the BCABA credential provide services to individuals with special needs, such as children with autism. Completing the three courses in Applied Behavior Analysis and three intensive, supervised practica, will qualify students to sit for the national certification examination sponsored by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
