Nursing students will be assisted to develop knowledge, attitudes, and skills essential to the practice of professional nursing through active, participatory and culturally diverse learning. The curriculum is designed to assist students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers with an appreciation for the moral, ethical, and cultural dimensions of the issues they confront in an ever evolving health care system. The Michigan Board of Nursing may deny RN licensure to an applicant who has been convicted of a crime or is addicted to drugs or alcohol. Enrollment is limited for this program.
