Students in the Bachelor of Science program in Physics may pursue one of two options: The traditional "professional" Physics program, which is selected by a majority of our majors, particularly those who plan to pursue graduate work in physics, and an interdisciplinary physics program, which provides a strong physics core but also includes courses in a second "area of concentration," such as materials science, applied mathematics, physical chemistry, geophysics, or astronomy.
