Theatre from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids is a Campus Bachelor Theatre degree that prepares you for a Art and Design career. Designed for the student who wishes to cover a wide spectrum of theatre arts; developing technique, production experience and a set of physical and intellectual principles. Minimum of 45 semester hours distributed as follows: 1.) Theatre History & Literature: TE113, TE361, TE362 (9 semester hours) 2.) Acting: TE141, TE223, TE241, TE283 (10 semester hours) 3.) Theatre Design: TE130 (3 semester hours) 4.) Theatre Technology: TE251, TE252 (6 semester hours) 5.) Stage Directing: TE343 (3 semester hours) 6.) Senior Independent Project: TE399 (1 semester hour) 7.) Theatre Practica: TE253, TE341 (4 semester hours; at least one credit in each area; counts for mainstage productions only.) 8.) Electives: ((9 semester hours; no more than 6 semester hours can be fulfilled through independent projects; TE100, TE253, TE341 cannot be applied to meet this requirement, only 3 credits from TE444 can be applied to meet this requirement). Students are encouraged to apply these semester hours to focus on one of the following areas; History & Theory, Acting, Directing, Children's Theatre or Technical Theatre. 9.)
