Appalachian has affiliations with schools of medical technology at Baptist Hospital and Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., and with Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., and Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. Only a limited number of qualified applicants are accepted into the clinical year of this program and the competition is keen.
