English as a Second Language from Anamarc Educational Institute - El Paso TX is a Campus Certificate Teaching degree that prepares you for a Education career. The English as a Second Language Stand Alone Diploma Program is an 825-clock hour course designed to develop English language proficiency skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing for beginning English Students. This program is equivalent to 40 semester credit hours, which are required to complete during the program. Students will develop necessary skills to effectively convey and participate in today's business world. This course is divided into five levels. Instructional strategies will be delivered in English only to serve students from different ethnic backgrounds and native languages . The student enters the courses at the appropriate level determined by the results of the assessment testing. This ESL Stand Alone is not approved for Title IV funding. However, it is approved for Title IV funding as a remedial course for an approved vocational program.
