Laboratory Technician from American College of Medical Technology is a Campus Certificate Clinical Laboratory degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. The eight-month Laboratory Technician Program is designed to teach clinical and research laboratory procedures and techniques integrated with the principals of Life Sciences. Laboratory tests play an important role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of many diseases. Medical Laboratory Technicians perform these tests under the supervision and direction of Pathologists (physicians who study the cause and nature of disease), Medical Doctors and scientists who specialize in laboratory sciences, also known as Medical Technologists.
