To be admitted to The School of Education, the student must take and pass the PRAXIS I examination. The PRAXIS II examination must be taken and bassed before taking ED-468. Upon successfully completing the biology curriculum, passing a departmental comprehensive examination, and meeting the standards required by the state, the student will receive a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alcorn State University and will qualify for a class "A" teaching certificate.
