Data Science, Econometrics, and Machine Learning through Applied Statistics starting at UPRM What is the best possible route studying for studying Applied Statistics with the focus Data Science using Econometrics and Machine Learning at UPR-M? This is my first year and I'm gathering some information online before confronting a counselor. I'm majoring in Applied Mathematics in Computer Science. Should I pursue a double bachelor and add Economics, then at the graduate level, pursue a more artistic Visualization (at MIT) and at the Phd level go for Economics? How can I crunch this down, can I skip the Masters and go straight for the PhD? Any thoughts?
I will be starting my first year at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez majoring in Applied Mathematics in Computer Science. For my graduate studies, I'm interested in the topics I've linked to this question and the Viral Spaces and Responsive Environments Research Groups at the MIT Media Lab. What are other great alternatives to the MIT Media Lab?
